WANTED:  Web Administrator

 

Core duties pre-season (January - April):

  • Preparing for pre-season – test registration.
  • Enabling the online Registration form.
  • Posting timely informational messages during the pre-season months.  This information informs members of Registrations, Evaluations, Drafts, Uniforms, etc.
  • Periodic exporting of Registrations to send to Registrar.
  • Uploading all regular season game schedules for the Scheduler to administer.

 

Core duties during season (May - August):

  • Posting timely informational messages to the web site.  The executive provides the content as required.  Note: There are very few updates between July – August.
  • Uploading all tournament game schedules for the Scheduler to administer.
  • Periodic exporting of Umpire Schedule to send to Office Manager.
  • Posting player and team photos.

 

Core duties post-season (September - December):

  • Export PayPal log and send to Treasurer.
  • Web redesign.
  • Changes to online applications such as schedules, standings, registration form, etc.
  • Testing of post-season application changes.

 

Required skills:

  • WWW technology including an understanding of domain management, name server forwarding, etc.
  • MS Visual Web Developer 2008+ Express
  • .NET 3.5+
  • MS SQL Management Studio
  • SQL
  • FTP (basic understanding)
  • Internet Information Server (basic understanding)
